Tomb of Yu the Great (Dayu Ling)

Tomb of Yu the Great is the burial ground of Yu, the hero of flood control in ancient China and first emperor to found a state. It is located at the rear of Huiji Mountain in the southeast suburb of Shaoxing. According to the literature, Yu was buried there. His son, Qi, had a memorial ceremony held for his father every year, and he also built an ancestral temple abutting the Tomb of Yu the Great on Nan Mountain (Nan Shan).
